Sports-lovers take note, the Charlotte Knights at Gwinnett Braves play Friday, July 5th at 7:05pm at CoolRay Field in Lawrenceville, GA.  Tickets $25.

Explore DooGallery FarmARTket on Saturday, July 6th from 10am-2pm for some fine arts & crafts, fresh produce, art supplies, live music, and more. Free at the DooGallery.

Singer/Songwriter Rachael Yamagata will perform at the Center State Friday, July 5th at 9pm. $18-$20.  Fans enjoy her "deep but not sorrowful" music styling with an added sense of humor.  

On Saturday, July 6th at 8pm, get ready for some belly laughs at Laughing Matters at Manuel's Tavern This group of seasoned improvisers take audience suggestions and turn them into funny songs and sketches onstage! Every show is funny. Every show is different. $8-$12

Your child won't be yelled at to get out of the trees during a special Tree Climbing in the Park event!  Climbers will be provided with a rope and saddle and can hang out in a tree while taking in a bird's eye view of the area.  Fun for for all ages.  Saturday, July 7th at 2pm.  $25/climber.  

On Saturday, July 6th at 3pm at Barnes and Noble Booksellers in Norcross, GA, the public can enjoy a Meet the Author Series with Karin Slaughter, bestselling author and library advocate.  Partake in a book discussion and get her new book, Unseen,  signed!  FREE.  

On Friday July 5th at 8pm the all American Celebration with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will perform patriotic songs, beloved anthems, and sing-alongs capturing the heart of freedom.  The evening will conclude with fireworks.  Perfect post-Independence Day Celebration at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater at Encore Park.  Tickets $15+.
